Great find in the heart of knaresbough. Great quirky pub with some nice Ales. Nice modern industrial feel to the decor. Lovely service. I'm sure we will pop back the next time we are in knaresbough.

A cracking boozer -3 floors all overlooking market Square (and indeed the statue of blind jack) and a great range of beer including naughty Belgium beer; shindigger and cloudwater. Excellent table service too with a bell to ring for service!

The finest little pub in Yorkshire! A terrific warm welcome from the landlord, Christian, who has evidently worked his socks off to ensure that the historical aspect of this famous place - named after perhaps THE most talented and astonishing 18th century Yorkshireman - is adequately preserved. Christian, his lovely partner and their cuddly pet pooch have managed to make the pub a haven for locals, but equally appealing to tourists and visitors. An excellent range of craft beers - and the team take their coffee seriously too. A must-visit .
