Have been meaning to eat here for years, and it didn't let us down. Very pretty pub and the food was delicious, my husband and son had the gammon egg and chips, and they said it was the best they had ever eaten! I had pasta, and it was well presented and very nice. Thanks to the very helpful and polite staff. Will definitely return.

An excellent carvery, driving back from Southampton, popped in for a carvery as we saw the sign. Staff very friendly & helpful. Lovely pub with a lovely carvery, everything was cooked to perfection the beef melted in your mouth. We sat outside in the gardens. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Stopped here for some lunch on our travels. Friendly staff and good service. Menu was not extensive and food was average but certainly nothing to complain about and not expensive. Overall it was fine for a half decent lunch and they seemed very COVID compliant.

We had lunch there today. They could not be doing more to make you feel safe. After leading to your table they ask you to use an app to order your food and drink . If you go during the eat out deal , you just click the discount code and your bill is automatically adjusted. You then pay on line . Very easy. The drinks came quickly, all served with a smile. The food was very good. All in all a great experience , we will be returning.

Good covid procedures in place, we didn't have a full meal. But the chips and garlic bread were very nice and cooked from fresh.
