Not gonna lie, I didn’t expect to go to this place and spend almost 60 for lunch but I think it was worth it for a good BBQ fix (maybe once a year). Got a beef rib and it was tender and amazing and flavorful, and I didn’t even share. Hubby said the brisket was the best he’s ever had. The sides (Mac and cheese and creamed corn) tasted perfect. Wanted to try the pecan cobbler but decided against it since we spent so much already.

Was really expecting more from Black's. Brisket was overcooked, dry, and lacking flavor. The ends of the brisket are typically my favorite part, but today they were just burnt. Was really looking forward after a 5hr drive to sit down and have a good dinner. Luckily we ordered turkey, which saved the day.
First time to this establishment but I was fairly impressed. We had the pork ribs, lean brisket, sausage links and a couple of sides. The pinto beans and Mac and cheese were too die for. Slightly disappointed because the brisket was dry and not as good as we'd hoped. The ribs and sausage were very good though and more than made up for the brisket. Still worth the visit and we may have to come back and give the brisket another shot.
Great Brisket and Ribs. Meat is tender and falls apart. Brisket had the perfect marbling and no need for BBQ sauce. All the sides were delicious. Would recommend to anyone with a craving for amazing Texas BBQ.
1st visit and I loved it. I'm so sad they ran out of pork belly but oh man! That brisket!!! Yumm'O! I like the vibe/ feel of this place. ALL THE SIDES are delicious. Very clean and every employee wore a mask CORRECTLY. I fell in love with the way they filled in the worn down spots in the hard wood floors. They put resin in the spots and placed folded dollar bills or coins in them then more reason to make it flush with the rest of the floor!!
