Friendly and welcoming staff and a beautiful location. Well stocked farm shop with a wide range of local produce at reasonable prices. Also extremely good food, well worth a lunchtime visit!

An amazing place to stay. We stayed in the west room and it was a great experience. Very friendly and accommodating hosts lovely food and a lovely to eat in the great hall. A real pleasure and a privilege to stay in such an historic place. Had an enjoyable visit to the farm shop cafe too. Altogether well worth a visit.
Well stocked shop, fresh meat and veg plus fruit on sale. Also they sell alcohol. You could easily buy a weekly shop here although it's more of a cost. Hot food available through we didn't partake but it certainly smelled good!!

Wonderful experience staying here earlier in August 2020. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We stayed in the Cider Press which was more than ample space for our needs (2 adults and 3 children). Good wifi connection and Smart TV really helped. Breakfast was delicious and served in the grand hall of the main house. Very rich history and amazing to see weapons of medieval times of a bygone era. We also used the farm shop daily to by in local produce including fish and vegetables. Owner was also able to source minced lamb from a local butcher and supplied us with firewood for a small barbecue - a very nice touch. We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely return - a great base for exploring northern somerset!
