Went to see if the butchers was still open at the market and what a lovely surprise! Brand new shop ( same guy as years ago ) only been open a week so all nice and shiny. Food displays looked amazing,only bought a couple of things but will defo be going back next week! Recommend the lamb kofta!

Been buying meat from Blackhurst for a while now. Got to say it's the best butchers we've been to. That's why we travel from Wigan to Southport. Such a variety of meat, chicken fillets in sauce, homemade sausages. Just cant fault it.
What a superb find in Southport Market. The quality of the meat over the last few months has been nothing short of exceptional and great value for money. The Chateaubriand last week was as good as any I have ever had .
