Bitterly disappointed with the very poor workmanship and shoddy work done on my car. My car is literally destroyed as a result. Last Friday took my car for a new audio unit. The guy at the counter showed me the only 1 unit on display and quoted me 305 including fitting. Ive paid him, left the car there and was told it will be ready before closing time. Mid afternoon I got a call from the same guy explaining that more wiring needs to be done for an extra 45 to which Ive agreed to pay on collection. At collection time I went in and discovered that the unit on display was removed so I asked whether or not the displayed unit was fitted to my car and to me astonishment the guy replied yes, adding “ Dont worry it’s a new unit and nobody touched it because there was a small sticker stating so”. I have touched the unit and tried it also there was fingerprints allover it. Anyway, I was given my car keys and asked to meet him at the workshop, nothing was explained to me and he was eager to get rid of me. The next day Ive checked the car only to find out the passenger side carpet was forcibly pulled out, never put back and he tried to hide it with a mat, few screws missing, the wiring they put in protruded with the cup holder preventing it from going into place, The DVD only plays for 1 minute before the screen goes back to stand-by mode so cant play DVDs, the unit stops working when I put the lights on ( Side lights and dipped headlights ), a buzzing noise from the speakers, and rumbling noise from the instrument panel and God knows what else I may found. The most appalling thing was damaging the original unit whilst removing it. Ill better stop here as this becoming very stressful. PS: went back to the shop this morning to find out why things were done so badly and according to the guy, its fine I just need to take it back to them so they look at it again. Actually I dont have the time nor the stomach to digest more lies.
