I've been a few times now and the food is fantastic. If you have a sweet tooth like me it's definitely for you. The waffles and milkshakes are amazing and taste so good. Lovely sundaes! Polite staff, great location so it’s not too busy and great prices. Need I say any more? Highly recommend this place

Went to Black Milk on a friends recommendation and was not disappointed! We decided to go for a ‘freak shake’ each which were insane (in a good way). If you are a sweet fan you will love these, you get a massive slab of cheese cake as well as a milkshake and cream on top. I really enjoyed the milkshake as it wasn’t too thick and was easy to drink after the cake. The restaurant had a nice feel to it and staff were friendly enough. We did go quite late and felt a bit rushed to leave (don’t worry, I’ve been there wanting to go home after a long day).

Unfortunately my experience at Black Milk was quite disappointing I would like to hope that this was a one off, as the taste of the food great. After spending 20 minutes outside we were finally able to enter and we we were told many of the items on the menu where unavailable, cocktails where advertised but not until we reached the till were we informed they where not currently none either. Meaning our choice of items where very limited. After ordering, and waiting and additional 35 minutes - we weren't the only one waiting this long - we were told that they didn't have any orange juice which we had already paid for. On the plus side, we were giving a fizzy drink alternative to the orange and the food was well made and tasted good, I personally wish they were a little bigger but thats neither here nor there. Overall I will eventually make my way back to Black Milk, but it won't be any time soon.

I’ve tried both the the following freak shakes ‘kinderella brownie’ and ‘salted caramel stack’ they both come with a milkshake and dessert stacked together with amazing presentation. It would be great if they had a option to reduce amount of sugar in the milkshake itself (I have a sweet tooth & still found it too sweet) The cakes however were perfection, incredibly fresh & moist. Be warned- don’t eat anything before this, as it’s deliciously rich and filling.

I went to Black Milk with high expectations after hearing about it from numerous friends. I went with the expectation that it'd be a restaurant along the lines of Heavenly Desserts or Haute Dolci, considering its in a desirable location within the city centre. The seating area was quite basic, quite a retro and minimalist styled seating area. Worlds apart from Heavenly Desserts, which is a very luxurious seating environment. I went with my partner who sat across from me. Unfortunately light conversation was out of the question due to the immense volume at which the staff members had put the music on. I could barely hear myself think, never mind holding a conversation. We were quite literally yelling at each other, despite being sat 3 foot away from each other. It was at this point, I thought let's just sat quickly and leave. I wanted a waffle but unfortunately they had stopped serving them. As such, I went for the Salted Caramel & Kinder Bueno pancake stack. The pancakes were presented really well and looked exceptionally appetising. They were cooked well however the chef had decided to douse them in the most incredibly sugary and sweet syrup and sauce. I have a sweet tooth but this was the most diabetes inducing, tooth decaying dessert I have ever eaten. The ice cream on top was equivalent to Tescos own brand. It was an average dessert with good presentation with fairly average service. The Music being so loud was the final nail in the coffin - if I wanted a nightclub, I'd have gone to one! Considering the price I paid for them, I was quite disappointed. I wished I'd have rather gone to Haute Dolci or Heavenly Desserts in Bolton or Cocos in Rochdale instead.
