Delicious takeaway pizzas - lots of topping and lovely soft bases. If you like blue cheese try the blue cheese , pickled pear and walnut a really interesting twist on a standard pizza topping - absolutely excellent. Traditional Margherita on menu as well!

Lovely quaint pub set just off the centre of Wolsingham. Good selection of hand pumps serving real ales together with other beers, wines, spirits tea and coffee. Bar staff are very friendly and the pub is dog friendly. The bar area is arranged in a L shaped and there is a real fire going on cold days. The pub had regularly won CAMRA awards.

Called in for the first time since moving into the area, all the correct precautions and procedures were in place following the recent government guidelines. Asked for a pint of cider and was shocked by the amount of choice and different kinds. The atmosphere was just about right with regards to a quiet relaxing drink. Ticks all the boxes

Rude, unprofessional customer service. I understand with the covid 19 situation that there are rules to follow but the \clearly marked\ rules (which is no more than a small notice attached to the outside of the pub) accompanied with no staff member available upon arrival meant that we were greeted with a sour greeting once a member of staff eventually attended as we had made our way to our own unreserved table as the bar rules state \only 1 person to the bar\. Rules need to be rightly enforced, but no one should be talked down to whilst been notified of a mistake. This is a shame as the pub actually looked a nice place to visit.

Cosy, well run village pub. Friendly, knowledgeable landlady, welcoming regulars, first class drinks on offer. Importantly, at the moment, excellent regime in place to combat Covid. Great place.
