Black Hog BBQ is located in a really cool location in downtown Frederick. Parking? They have a parking lot so there is a good chance you don't have to park on the street. Inside, the place is clean and we were greeted right away. We tried the Arkansas BBQ which was a delicious meal. The southern greens were p-e-r-f-e-c-t (we recommend). The Carolina Pork sandwich (with coleslaw on top) was yummy and there is plenty of sandwich. The fries were excellent. Service was excellent... Music was good. Outside seating and inside. Take-away orders as well. Really good!

Meats, gumbo and cornbread very good. Good selection of beer & liquor. I like the rustic atmosphere but the brick walls and metal roof make it very difficult to hear because every sound is amplified. I would do take out but probably not eat in again.
Super good service! Our waiter, Fernando was very attentive and had a great attitude! We got pulled pork sandwiches, ribs and chicken... all was delicious! We'll definitely be back!
I celebrated my graduation yesterday in this fine place. happy to tell that we passed a fantastic evening and the venue was unquestionably the reason for the strong gathering. The stuff helped in a gorgeous style, the meals were very good and my guests were very thrilled. We shall no dout visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
Great food, specifically the smoked meats. Service was decent but nothing to write home about. Beer, wine, and whiskey are available, but not on draft.
