Best chicken, ham and leek pie ever. Just moved to the area making the black dog my local, couldn't be happier, great ales and Covid 19 procedure is to government guidelines. Can't wait to return soon, keep up the great work.

Lovely place, fabulous food and wonderful beer garden. Staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful. Huge portions and a great menu.
Great pub food restaurant with good chefs and lovely family led staff. Wines and beers of a good quality and kept well. Will be sad to see this shutting on Thursday for lockdown . Hope to see it open again soon.
Only issue i had was that I asked to have a child's portion because I have a gastric band and its the first place thats refused me resulting in me only eating a third of the fish and the rest goin in the bin! Apart from that, the food is amazing
Absolutely delicious even with the slightly longer wait time it's well worth it. Covid measures work really well. Plenty of places to sanitize your hands. Temperature taken on entry. Will definitely be going here again
