Stayed at a cottage for a long weekend and drank in here every night. Excellent staff, lovely atmosphere and amiable locals willing to chat. Food looked good but we didn't eat there. I don't think I've been in a pub where the staff and service was faultless.

Ate at the Black Bull tonight. Lovely meal great service lovely staff. We hadn't booked but did manage to get an early table in the restaurant. We could have ate in the bar. Good idea to book in advance. Very efficient with the track n trace system. Great value for money and a good selection of food.
All covid regulations being adhered to. But still retains a lovely atmosphere. Extensive menu excellent. Service quick and efficient. Food absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a visit, but remember to book
Great place to eat and drink with family and friends. Wide choice of food available and specialist menus for those who require alternative choices such as allergies and intolerance. Quirky and spacious interior, friendly staff and fresh tasty food choices.
Lovely atmosphere and decor. We booked 30 minutes before we arrived. Very welcome reception. Had to record our track and trace details using a qr code. No temp check. This is a Greene King pub with standard pub food. Children's menu available. Service was great and very friendly. Food was lovely. Would recommend.
