Only popped in for a quick pint after a lovely walk around the reservoirs. Greeted and shown our seats with all covid precautions in place and then asked what we would like to drink. The EPA was delicious as was the atmosphere and cleanliness. Thanks for a wonderful experience team.
Food was great. Fish tasted fresh, salt and pepper beef was the best we have ever had (actual discernable pieces of meat rather than tiny thin overcooked slivers like you get elsewhere!!) Staff were clearly getting used to the new precautions and a little slow with service. However, they were polite, friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the meal.
Absolutely outstanding! Well organised very clean polite friendly bar staff and waitresses. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back on the next sunny day the views from the terrace are to die for.
If you're walking around the reservoirs it's rude not to stop for a celebratory pint in the Black Bull. I had a Guinness on this occasion and it was a great pint. The food smells amazing but unfortunately they had stopped serving so missed out. I think it was only about 6pm I might be wrong but it did feel they stopped a bit early which is a shame or would've given a 5 star review
