Just had a lovely meal with my wife, children and puppy. All made to feel very welcome and Covid secure. The scallops for starter and soup were immense and the kids all ate their food. Bill was pretty much what we expected to. Will definitely be back

Lovely ambience, friendly and helpful staff and good, well cooked and unpretentious food. Steak, fish, game with seasonal accompaniments (We had beetroot, cob nuts and local blue cheese, followed by venison with falsify, celeriac and smoked smooth potatoes). Good choice of wines or anything else you might want. Excellent Virgin Mary. Easy parking.
This was our first time at the black bull inn and it exceeded all my expectations, beautiful ,friendly and welcoming and the food was outstanding, will definitely be going again. If you haven't been before then this is a must on your list. Big thank you to the staff that made our night x

Absolutely fantastic, the staff could not be more welcoming, the food being seasonal was really good. The photos show the sea bream and the full cheese board. We booked (advisable) for a family of four and the table was ready on time and service impeccable. Highly recommend.
