I am sure this restaurant is worth a visit and I can guess the kind of experience most clients have but our dinner was honestly one of the worst I had in my life... From service to food, everything was wrong. I had the vegetarian menu with a starter which was ok. Coming to dinner, I basically got a bunch of smashed vegetables, with a plate designed beautifully making you believe that it will be very tasty. But it's not. I honestly struggled to finish my plate since I didn't want my friend who invited us to feel offended but both taste and texture were disgusting. An other friend had cannelloni with fish, which was tasteless. Desserts were average. We had a table upstairs and were the only clients, it felt very empty and staff couldn't see us when we needed something. The lady who served us was cold, polite though, but it didn't help us to forget about the food and enjoy our night. 30 euros per menu was a way too much for what we got.

Superb... simply superb... a true, seasonal 'gourmand' experience... and (a rarity in France) a menu for vegetarians... the soufflé aux mirabelles was exceptional and deserves a mention... see you again very soon!!!!
Very delicious ‘plat du jour’ made with fresh products. Together with a glass of dry Rhubarb-wine, this made it the perfect start of our French Holiday. 10/10
A few of us decided to go out on the town today to get lunch. After stopping at a bunch of places that were \too full\, we were distraught. We eventually made our way over to the Rue du Chapitre, still looking for a place to eat. It ended up being an absolute blessing that all the other places were too full, because otherwise we wouldn't have found this gem of a restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was very good. All of the workers were really nice and the chef did a wonderful job on the food. I'll admit, the portions were \smaller\, but I'm American so I'm used to large portions of food. Other than that, I cannot find a single flaw in this restaurant and I highly recommend it to anyone in Epinal. I will definitely be returning!

ASked for veg food, nice english speaking lady showed me a table, offered me soup with vegetablesrice. The soup was terrible, rice was half cooked, charged me ransom for this. I would never recommend this.
Very nice restaurant, with good service and good food. It is not very cheap, but in line with many other restaurant in Epinal.
Très bon moment passé ce dimanche. Un peu à l'écart dans une charmante impasse qui mène au Musée du Chapitre, à deux pas de la basilique et de la place principale nous sommes arrivés vers 12h30. Accueil sympathique l'équipe a ajouté des tables pour nous faire une place. Sur la façade la plaque Maître restaurateur annonce la couleur. Nous avons choisi le menu du moment et nous nous sommes régalés. Vue sur la cuisine c'est nickel et fait maison !! Je recommande évidemment !!
