This is a truly great restaurant. If you’re in Lyon visit it. In a beautiful room, we had excellent service and could choose from a distinctive menu. The rabbit terrine was first class, as was my brochette. Good wine and a fine champagne at a very reasonable price. As I said YOU MUST VISIT!

We were pleasantly surprised at the amazing mushroom sauce on our guinea hen. The prices were reasonable and no reservation necessary for dinner. They were also open on Monday which was a nice treat.

I've lived in Lyon and love Lyon food. Avoid this Bistrot du Palais. It's probably the worst restaurant I've eaten at in Lyon. The meat was a solid slab of fat without any actual meat in it. Almost totally inedible. The meat was accompanied by pasta, a dumb paring. Worse, the pasta was quite poorly done.
