It was excellent. Great food, great service, excellent value. The attention was top notch. Starters: foie gras, betteraves et chevre. Main: Poele St. Jacques, lapin provencal. Dessert: tarte au pomme, poire vignorone. Kir was offered while chosing from the menu. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our favorite dinner in Paris at Bistro de la Porte Doree that started out very intimidating and ended very whimsically. (Perhaps how one could describe a trip to Paris altogether?) The menu is completely in French, so if you are English speaking, make sure you have a reliable way to get translation (the Google Translate app was very helpful! We were the only English speakers there, and our waiter was very patient and kind). We arrived at 7p and didn’t leave until 10:30p after we happily enjoyed a bottle of wine and three courses. We stayed at a hotel very close by and loved having such a long evening in such a lovely place! We strongly recommend a visit here.

Have minimal knowledge of French, but the host made it easy to order. We were here for dinner, and could tell that this place is quite the popular spot for the locals. Very tasty course meals and service. Didn't expect to stay long, which meant we really enjoyed ourselves and forgot the time!
Very good had a lunch with familly on sunday was perfect the decor is a bit old the seats need to be redone but the food is great and the sunfay lunch all included is great and reasonable.
We dont know much french but had no issues ordering here. The food was incredible and the staff were friendly. Classic Parisian vibe, would strongly recommend. 42 euros for 3 courses and a bottle of wine.

At last a kitchen serving french food in the old way! Evening fixed price menu at 42eu with wine included has very interesting choices and is good value. Good service and decor and atmosphere’. Very popular. Will return often.
