Kind of an odd place at first impression but I think we were just there pretty early in the evening. Once the food came out it was very good. I mean I've had better food in France but the apricot tarte was AMAZING and the fish that was wrapped in almost paper was very good mom's chicken was not exactly what we were expecting... But she said it tasted good anyways. Maybe food is 3.5 stars but the couple who own it are super sweet, the prices are reasonable and their plat du jour hit the spot for me.

This restaurant made me feel like home. Dishes are all delicious and good service also. The price are reasonable since entréeplatdessert is just for 23. Will definitely go again if I got a chance to come back to Tours.

We ordered the \Perigourdine\, duck fois gras pasta dish, and the \Rotisserie de la mer\, assortment of seafood with rice and vegetables. The duck was very tough and the pasta sauce was very bland. The seafood was overcooked and also very bland despite the appearance of some kind of seasoning throughout the dish. My friend got very sick after eating here, so be careful with what you order if you decide to visit. On the other hand, the \tapas du bouchon\ appetizer was good. For all the good reviews here, we expected better quality and better tasting food.

Very good eatery serving traditional French fare (we were concerned that it was Italian, judging by the name, but it's not). Excellent patron, friendly & efficient staff and superb food. Plat de jour is tremendous value in a haute cuisine environment. Seems to have a strong clientele of local professionals at lunchtime, so that is recommendation in itself. So, a little gem in the centre, adjacent to the grand Gare de Tours.

Stumbled aross Rossini almost by accident. The food was amazing. We had the 3 course plat de jour and were astounded by the quality of the food and the lower price compared to other places in the area. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended. Best food we have had in France after 12 months here.

Authentic French cuisine, timely service. Patient, kind staff. This resto was recommended to me by the Grand Hotel, where I was staying, and I was pleased with the quality and value.

Bistro Rossini is the best restaurant we ate at in Tours and probably all of France! It's located near the train station. The owners are nice, the staff are friendly, the food is fresh & delicious, and they will cater to your needs. We had foie gras and seafood there, and they were superb! However, do not try the local specialty, the andouillette sausage.... it's rated 5 stars, that's why we tried it, but the 5 stars are given by a French sausage club, which we found out after googling it. The locals like it, but most foreigners do not.
