I don't know what people are talking about with one star reviews but both myself and my wife received great service that was both attentive in selection of the menu which the set menu is so worth it. Great flavors that intrigued us and was very complimentary of the ingredients. Kudos to the cooking team that puts this all together.

This place is amazing, the food was delicious cooked perfectly and well portioned, leaving you feeling full but not uncomfortably so. The service was really friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. The dessert was the most decadent thing I have eaten in a long while. I can't praise it highly enough.
Amazing meal in heart of the very cool area of le Cours. 21 for three incredible dishes served with a carafe of wine for 9 all in their lovely terrace. Some of the best food we ate in Marseille, away from the tourist traps around the port.

The restaurant refused to seat us even though we had a reservation. The manager(?) showed me my reservation on his phone but said he couldn't seat us because he had turned off the reservations on the viamichelin website during lunch, but clearly I was able to book it. What makes it worse was the restaurant was empty inside, only the seats outside were full. We were willing to sit inside, but he said there was nothing he could do, but did not explain why. To cap it off, we had landed two hours before from an 8 hour flight and had booked this place weeks in advance. We were tired, hungry and excited to eat at this well reviewed restaurant. They were unaccommodating and unapologetic. Edit: Since the owner has responded (and called me stupid?) I would like to clarify. I am not giving the restaurant 1-star based on the food. This is based on the customer service. We booked weeks in advance, I called the restaurant 30 minutes before i we walked over to confirm we could sit and was told it was no problem. When we arrived they wouldn't seat us and there was plenty of room in side. It seems it would have been easy to accommodate us, but they did not.
Simple but classy. Yummy food!!
