Small brewery but with a really big atmosphere. Lovely people create a warm welcome and the beer isn't half bad either, with plenty choice for non beer drinkers too. Then of course there's great food too and everything is local. What better way to support small, local businesses and have a great, safe night out.

Great range of great beers with a slight twist! These guys love to think outside the box with their flavours. Really enjoyed the hedgerow IPA, look out for that!

We visited McColls while on hols in the area. This just happened to coincide with a brewery tap weekend in collaboration with Cafe Amsterdam. This was our first visit to the brewery and we were made to feel very welcome. The brewery had a really good range of beers on offer, with personal favourites being the black forest stout, Thai infusion witbier and chamomile saison. Cafe Amsterdam also had great beers on offer with a strawberry nitro stout. Thankfully we turned up well prepared so we took home a couple of take out vessels to enjoy the beers the following day.
