Thank you so much Durham Hens. We had a broody silkie and just couldn’t break her so decided to get some fertile eggs. From ordering to arrival your services are excellent. Followed instructions that were sent with the eggs. 19 days later we had 4 health chicks. They are 5 weeks old now and are doing great. Will definitely be coming back in the future

We collected 6 beautiful mixed breed hybrid hens from Durham Hens Saturday 20th June, all doing amazingly well. We are new to chickens, and totally smitten. I’ve seen the odd negative review and I can reassure anyone 100% buy from here. These guys get 100’s of calls and messages a day, you need to be patient, but they are a small but fantastic team and you won’t be disappointed

Iv now bought 11 hens, hatching eggs (of which all 6 hatched!) and an incubator from Durham Hens and have had nothing but fantastic service. Recently got 3 Exchequer leghorn pullets to go with my Exchequer leghorn cockerel and they came in great condition. Happy and healthy, they settled in quick and even took themselves to bed on the first night. My original 4 hens which got me hooked who came from Durham hens are still going strong and have never fallen ill. Will always recommend Durham hens for people starting out with poultry.

Excellent business. Great service and fast delivery. Website updated daily on stock which is very useful. Purchased hatching eggs and all delivery very fast usually next day even in these difficult times. Very successful hatch rate 23 out of 24 hatched and healthy.
