A really interesting site and with the addition of the visitors centre to show the kids what's what...it's a great place. Probably would only fill an hour, but it'll be a lovely hour. The archeological dig site of the soldiers' bath house is particularly impressive. I would love to see more examples 'in the flesh' of things that have been unearthed. Very good provisions to keep the public safe from Covid19 too.

Quite an amazing experience. It is incredible the work carried out to achieve these finds. It's like walking into the Roman past. Highly recommended visit. There is currently an archaeological dig on site too which is most interesting. Thanks to all the lovely people on the archaeological site who made me feel so welcomed and to Stephen who showed me around the site.

Ive done a few Roman sites and most of the time they are piles of rock, that leave a lot to the imagination. These have got to be some of the best pile of Roman rocks Ive seen. It Wont take you too long to look round the site, but hope my 5 entrance fee will help in Excavations and preservation.

Featured on Channel 4's \Time Team\, the site offers a 'Wow!' factor several times over because of the extent and quality of excavated bath houses and associated buildings, all part of this significant Roman fort with a section of 'Dere Street' (the Roman road between York and Edinburgh) still running through it.

Really nice location to walk around, even in not very nice weather. The views are incredible and the history is really interesting
