Birtle riding centre is a lovely place to go. The horses are so well looked after and are all pleasant and happy in there stables. The facilities at this establishment are superb you will struggle to find better in this area . The staff are very hard working and can not do enough for you or your horse and always make sure the horses welfare and need comes first. I would highly recommend this stables for anybody wanting to learn to ride due the high standard and attention they give to teaching and anybody wanting to stable there horses there due to the great care the staff give to these animals and the amazing facilities they provide .

This place is amazing the people are lovely and so are the horses great place for learning to ride all you ever need is right there ! Staff are polite and helpful. Great facilities would recommend!!
Loved it. Nice atmosphere with a good range of happy horses, great facilities, very friendly and polite, I've had horses all my life looked at a few establishments recently and I will definitely be booking in at Birtle the standard of riding I saw was high
This place is absolutely awful. Horses are nice, and facilities are very grand, but these positives are cancelled out by the staff. Birtle's head girl is appallingly rude, and I cannot say that her colleagues are much different. The staff are incredibly off putting, not friendly at all, no smiling, and in general impolite. Instead of answering questions my child was laughed at and made to feel very unwelcome. I can promise that she will not be returning. I can see that I am not the first to comment on the abrasivness of the people this establishment employs, and would suggest you either discipline your staff or perhaps part ways with them. I would not recommend your business, in fact I would recommend against it. There are far better riding schools in the area, such as Moorview Equestrian up Darwen way. Much friendlier and priced the same with even better facilities. Marcroft just up the road has a much more welcoming atmosphere also, although the facilities are not as spectacular.
In agreement with a previous review, the staff are incredibly rude. Even heard them bitching about a client. Surely it isn't difficult being nice? Most of the horses don't get enough hay. Horrible place with horrible people, go elsewhere! In addition to my previous review, encountered this riding school taking students on a hack when I was driving and they were using a pony that was dog lame behind. Place needs shutting down. They only care for money.
