Insufficent support given to student with special needs. Unwillingness to work with parents to make necessary adjustment to accomodate the needed change to assist in the student's learning needs. Less open to external therapist's input would hinder the student's progress.

I came to change my previous review about birralee but I had no idea how to edit it. Therefore I review it again as I think this school deserves five stars rating comparing with some expensive private schools. We want to come back if possible as we had the most lovely, caring, humorous, kind and knowledgeable principal. Maybe we can’t find a better school in Melbourne. I guess All the kids love the principal! And a lot of good and teachers are so passionate with their jobs.

Honesty Peace

Birralee is an excellent learning space, teachers and programs are of very high quality. The principal team display professionalism and are always honourable and supportive. What is not right or honest is the minority of parents who are habitually rude, demanding or disrespectful, engaging in personal attacks on teachers and administrators, demeaning and threatening them. They repeatedly violate the school’s policies, values, and norms of conduct. It is these people who feel it is justifiable to share their relative opinion or bias. It is also these people who blame and justify or even more alarming, believe they are broadcasting a valid 'concern' that they have identified within the school. Please think about the role model you are being for your children, they are the ones who suffer the most. It is always easy to believe our own irrational thinking, it is more uncomfortable to reflect on our own weakness. What is done in the dark, shines in the light. Choose integrity and honesty.

An amazing School, Ashley Ryan the principal has the well being of his students at the heart of everything he does, both of my children attended here and I am so glad that they did.
