Very interesting but self-guided tour route difficult to follow. It would have been much more informative w/an educated guide; to the uninitiated, iron making is a complicated process. Visually very interesting. Still, worth visiting if you enjoy historical places which it is.

Only online appointment is available at the moment due to the pandemic. Vital history of industrialization is so real and monumental right in the eyes of the visitors. It is certainly a good location to study the importance of Birmingham's industrial revolution.
I'm glad we stopped in. Very interesting history and art tour. Perfect for outdoors and socially distanced activity. My youngest is 5 and the your was just the right length for the family.
This is really a cool place to go look around, even when they are not technically open. People have heard the word “Ironworks”. Until you’ve seen one up close, you will never truly u sweat and that word. It’s a breathtakingly beautiful landscape of metal and machinery that makes you feel small.
