Nice packaging for fish and chips. I wish I could say the same about the quality of food. Chicken burger tastes just about edible and chips are probably the worst I ever had. Prices are higher than average. Overall comment I shall not be returning for another visit.

Been here twice now food was absolutely brilliant. Family all praised the taste and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The food was fresh and cooked just right. I will be a regular here from now on, it’s become my favourite place for fast food and it’s really close to my place of work. Can’t fault it and there’s so much variety, hats off to the chef! keep up the good food.
I’ve been coming to shaks since it’s been open and hand on heart I can say it’s the best fish and chips in Birmingham. When you go into the shop the young gentleman treat you like family and make you feel welcomed. This shop has changed many owners over they years but hands down shaks is the best in town. Get down if you already haven’t!!!!!!! ALWAYS FRESH and moneys worth also soo many options from fish and chips to peri peri they do it all.
