New Raja Monkey is great and worth visiting if you love Indian food. They offer a more high end menu now but have retained the thalis and staples of the previous restaurant. Service was great and made sure we were well looked after. I can highly recommend the Ox tail which was slow cooked to perfection and perfectly spiced. The desserts are a nice addition and we had a lovely evening.

Finally have got around to leaving review for this place. This is hidden pearl in hall green. A pearl you may ask? Well that infact is true. No good places left in hall green only fast food places and burgers and chips re opening all over the are. Wheres 10 years back you have plendynoff fine dining places in this locality. Not you have Indian street food in the south of birmingham. And I must say you cant get better. The customer service is amazing the decor inside is very very uptown and trendy. Most off all their food is amazingly cooked to perfection. Not only does it look magnificent but its tastes absolutely beautiful. Their lamb is so tender and flavoursome laing woth their other dishes. Must try nd n experience you must recieve at lest once.

Ordered 2 different curry mains and 2 portions of rice which altogether came to 32. Took 1 bite and wouldnt touch the food. The taste was absolutely horrendous. Immediately called to discuss the issue. Told them they could come and get the food to see it was barely touched. Was offered a refund only to be called the following day and told I needed to send an email the management as they were not happy to give the refund. Disgusting customer service and the food was even worse. Re-ordered food from els where straight after.

The original and best Indian Street Food eatery in Birmingham. Raja Monkey presents street food cuisine in a perfect culinary package. Dishes are different, exciting and taste wonderful. Move aside British North Indian food, the South Indian food revolution is coming!

Great food at a very reasonable price. Very clean and comfortable. the staff are also very friendly and helpful. will definitely visit again.
