It's a beautiful place just outside Birmingham with some extraordinary views. It's a great place for a picnic and for kids. There is a play area and with some beautiful trail. I recommend the visit. The car park is not big so get ready to park on side roads on busy summer roads
During the pandemic, they had done a great job of opening the cafe for takeaway drinks etc which was awesome. On the downside, there were no toilet facilities available which was a bit of a problem for someone in our group with a medical condition. But otherwise, well done for getting the cafe open safely.
Great place for a long walk, you don't have to travel far to get to it either.
A great country park just outside Birmingham. Loads of forests and footpaths to explore, kids playground, visitor centre and cafe. Main car parks on either Warren lane (for visitor centre and kids play area) or monument lane for beacon hill which is also excellent. Golf course accessed from Rose Hill.
