I was unfortunate to go there in 1973. It was instrumental in causing permanent damage to me in many ways. The building should be razed to the ground and written out of historu

I had a very good experience while I was a pupil at this school. I would highly recommend it as most of the teachers are very helpful and supportive. It is an amazing place to be.

When I attended Handsworth Grammar School in 1951 the teacher pupil tolerance was very low, as such I did very badly and achieved nothing until I got a grip in the fifth form 5A as it was then. In the first year Miss Keeling, evil maths teacher, was so nasty and lacking any skills whatsoever in encouraging pupils to understand, because she knew it she expected us to know it too by implication. What a nightmare it was. After leaving the school with three O-level I took control of my own education. Went to night school ONC, HNC BSc and MSc (B'Ham U) eventually achieved at the age of 24.. NO thenks to HG school whatsoever. At my MSc degree ceremony, Birmingham University, someone in the congregation cheered when my school was named, little did they know of my disdain and disgust of that school!

Boys from this school swear at the kids next door in the primary school and take pictures and videos through the fence, not sure what they're being taught over there, but if you want your children to have a good education they stay away from this sithole.
