Well impressed with the service I received from Birds Tackle. I rang them up on the off chance at 3:30pm 19/1/21 to enquire about the Fox brew kit (a hard to find discontinued item). I have spent months trying to find one. They confirmed they had just received a back dated order containing them. I placed my order straight away, it arrived today at 3pm 20/1/21. Faultless service.

You've heard of fisherman's friends? Bird's Tackle is a fishing paradise! Absolutely everything and anything you could ever need for fishing you can find here! There is a huge stock of accessories, rods, hooks, bait, and clothing. Plus gear for all different kinds of fishing! With friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, it's definitely the go to fishing shop in Ipswich!
Excellent service. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and above all honest about the stuff on sale, they wont push you to buy the most expensive items. They will advise you on what they feel is the best value for money and what works best. That's what proper customer service is imo. Pricing is a tad more than online but to be expected. Good selection of everything you might need. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be buying more kit from them in the future
I like Birds because the owers and staff speak politely to me, they are courteous and very helpful indeed. I think that Birds is old school and they appreciate their customers. They actually put prices on their products which is very helpful as I have a limited budget and would not wish to embarrass them or myself when I got to the counter to pay. The assortment of garden products out the front of the shop is very good indeed. I did have my heart set on one of their concrete benches for my front garden but sadly the one I had my eye on had been sold and I did not have enough to get one of the other two benches as they are cash only at present. 10/10 for Birds being the best Fishing shop in East Anglia.
Thank you for putting customers our way Tom much appreciated , nothing but good reports from the lads about the shop, great service. Many thanks . Jon
