I’ve been a regular customer for a couple years now! They’re the friendliest and the most knowledgeable. I really appreciate them giving tips and advice on how to properly keep the pets before you purchase. They take time to explain fish care, making sure you have everything you need before coming home with your new pet. You could really tell they love what they do!

We bought two very healthy budgies from the Birdshop and several fish plus supplies and food. One bird 8 years ago and the second bird yesterday. We have always receive excellent service here. They take the time to answer question and give advice.
Don't go here if you have a medical exemption. They ask for it in writing, which no place is actually allowed to do.. then they will say they don't believe you (calling you a liar).. the one guy screams at me at the top of his lungs. What a joke. They lost quite a bit of money this day. Oh well I'll just go elsewhere. note: your policy does not supersede law and medical advice/conditions
Wonderful man!! I went back twice because the motor to the aquarium wouldn't work----he told me---on 2 different occasions---what to do, and happily it worked the second time. Can't thank him enough.......and it didn't cost a dime! It's not the money; it's just common courtesy. Where do you get service like that any more?
So the owners are very nice and kind and know a lot about their animals and how to care for them.. so i am very curious on why the animals aren’t well taking care of. Reptiles, they seemed okay, didn’t have proper lighting and the enclosures weren’t the cleanest but that’s expected with reptiles, things get dirty. The fish tanks were very dirty looks like they havnt been cleaned in a while.. But considering there are so many Animals I can understand that it’s tough taking care of all them with not many people working there. But you should not take more than you can handle, it’s not fair for the animals. The biggest concern were the birds! Holy molly these poor things!! Shaking ill, feathers puffed up in that dark room that’s closed shut. If the birds were out where people could socialize with them they would be much happier. So would the customers lol I wanted to see them so bad!! But the food dishes were at the bottem of the cage? Maybe cause it’s easier for the owners to not get bitten. The dishes shouldn’t be at the bottem cause they will poop in it. There was one toy in each cage, one perch in each cage, there should be least 3 in each. And I love the lady who owns the store she’s very kind and smart but please get these birds out in the open for people to socialize!! They would sell faster, people like me would come visit them!! The birds would be happy :) I sadly won’t be buying birds from here unless they start taking better care for them. When you buy a bird, that’s one more bird they need to get. I hope the best for these animals and the store!! This review is not meant to be mean, just concerned about the animals.
