We have had a take away Sunday dinner for two and two desserts all I can say is it didn’t disappoint. Spot on excellent food. I must say thanks to the bird in hand and sing their praise also for blending a Sunday dinner for my 4 year old who is not yet eating solids due to suffering ill health before this 3rd lockdown the pub went above and beyond doing this and it was very much appreciated. Five s, fabulous!

After a very long and busy week I went with my absolute favourite again over the weekend, passed on the trimmings this time. Takeaway, given the current climate. Supporting local. Staff lovely as ever, food amazing. Highly recommended
Nestled in the heart of Saltford village, perfectly situated for an ideal pit stop from a walk along the river or whether you're cycling on the B2B. Great drink selection and plenty on the menu to suit all tastes.
The Bird is a very good pub. Lovely setting, loads of parking. The staff are extremely efficient and friendly, plenty of booze selection and the food extremely good. Prices good too. Really good stop of point on the Bristol to Bath cycle path. Taking COVID precautions really seriously but not to the extent that it inconveniences. Really recommended.
Lovely staff, great social distancing practices, good sized portion of chips! Pretty high quality pub, friendly staff and polite patrons. Caught it from the cycle path just up the hill, if you need a drink and a five minutes sit down it's great with the garden!
