Delicious and presented well with friendly staff

Popped in after dinner elsewhere for a cheeky glass and desert. Welcoming and friendly staff, all be it with one somewhat over-stepping the mark on the chat but this just well-intentioned inexperience and with guidance from his manager, sortable. The wine drinkable, the chocolate tart very edible! A nice relaxed ambience and the manager accommodated charging my phone and had some good pudding suggestions for DIY at home! We overheard another couple thanking for an excellent evening, they not wrong. We’ll do starters and mains on return..
Had Fish Pie at Bill's in Tun Wells a few weeks back and it was superb. So was looking forward to the same dish when I went again last Friday, not the same at all and very disappointing. Couldn't find any creamy sauce, however the fish was sitting in a liquid which was fat from the large amount of metled cheese on the top. Unfortunately will not be going back for a good while.
Good food and the lady serving us was nice and friendly
Just spent over 2.5 hours in this place and will never return. Booked in for lunch with the family and apart from the friendly greeting at the door we were barely tended to for the remainder of our visit. Staff would stand around and gormlessly stare at you but it took nearly 35 min to get our order taken and another hour for it to finally arrive. Food was average at best. Used to be good but sadly no longer. Better establishments around and will make use of those instead.
