Sadly, a bad experience for me and my Nan. Having gone to the Chichester restaurant this week with my Nan who is 98 and only gets out the house once a fortnight, we always go out for a nice hot meal as a real treat for her. Upon arrival the staff were very slow to greet us and take our order, where the whole time, we didn't feel looked after. It was a Thursday afternoon, hardly anyone in there, and loads of staff on. We asked for a small portion of the Macaroni cheese, and when it came it looked like the strangest thing. Served on a small side plate, it was formed in the shape of whatever vessel it was heated in, just like if you were to get jelly on a plate! It looked dry around the edges, and wasn't even cheesy to taste. The kitchen staff made no effort to present it nicely and when asking for more cheese sauce to try and improve the dish, nothing was brought to make it better. We were both incredibly polite about the whole thing, and now I wish I had said more so to have not paid. It has completely put me off going there, and won't be visiting again. I can't say for much else on the menu, but it was cold and loud in there, so for anyone hard of hearing it isn't the best venue. Wish I had taken a picture now!!

We had a lovely evening meal on Friday , I had a curry that was absolutely tasty and well made and my husband had fish pie that again was fantastic. The service was brilliant and we decided to have breakfast on the Saturday morning again having good food and good service. Can't recommend enough well done guys.
Very well organised especially when enforcing their Covid measures. Staff were friendly, food was wonderful. Luckily I had previously looked at the Gluten Free menu beforehand but no GF menu in site, was advised to look online again, not ideal, but understandable during this current climate.
Normally this is great. Today, chicken burnt and chewy, burger under cooked. Stupidly busy and almost every table full and this is during covid!!! Far too many customers in the restaurant under current restrictions. The poor staff were run ragged, totally unacceptable. Yet they remained professional and attentive when they had time! Can't even blame the chef, must have been under a lot of pressure. This hasn't put me off and I will return, providing it's not so busy.
