Had a super lunch at Bills Restaurant today in Bury St Edmunds. The food was wonderful, good range of beers and drinks, the staff were friendly and attentive and great value all round. We shall be returning for sure!

Love this restaurant! The food was amazing, atmosphere is very rustic feeling and welcoming, and the staff was very friendly and kind. My food came out in a timely manner and while I waited I enjoyed their pork dumplings which were amazing! Great and unique cocktail selection as well. For my entree I ordered the minute steak with chips and was not disappointed. Definitely recommend!

Generous 3 stars for polite staff. Food rubbish, first and last visit. Wife's chips cold and soggy. I had what was supposed be calamari, well over done, some so bad it was crucified, like chewing on elastic bands, nice touch was the sprinkle of pea shoots, couldn't eat them as petrified.

First time I've been. Food was excellent but I had to wait a while for the bill.

Good food. So impressed that there are at least 2 vegan options for each course! The staff were not very attentive. Service was so so slow! A meal for 6 people (3 courses) meant we were in the restaurant almost 3 hours (long after it closed), and I eventually had to get up to find a waiter to ask for the bill.
