Super food, unique Basque recipes. Above street level with stained glass windows. Very quiet, though the street below is loud. The service is par excellence.

We just stumbled upon possibly the best restaurant in Bilbao, the food and wine are amazing and the service very friendly, so great we’re considering coming back again tomorrow!
Disappointing. Agreed to have half a bottle of wine before hand - served (and charged) full bottle. Only asked for one piece of bread (@ 1.80 each!). When reminded we only had one bun (our server charged us for two), Diana answered “ok, then it’ll be 1.60 less”... guess Diana likes even numbers?! Food was good, but serrano ham croquettes were extremely salty. When mentioned to Diana, she denied them being salty with a naif “maybe the jamon was too strong”. No, Diana, I’m afraid they simply had more salt than what they required. No apologies, no bill amendments. Overall, I cannot recommend this venue as a trustable eatery for conscious honest travellers.
