Used to be a good bike shop, and I have had my bike worked on twice at this shop, but recently the shop owner has decided not to work on fixed gear bikes with only one additional brake as he says it is illegal. He is obviously completely wrong about this and has demonstrated a lack of understanding of the law. This is fine as it is his bike shop and he has every right to work on the bikes that he wants to. It is not okay however to spread misinformation. I didn't care at first because it is only his loss and I know he is mistaken, however I walked past today to see a bike in the window for sale with only one brake, if it is single speed then it is in fact illegal and if it is a fixed gear then the shop owner has once again flip flopped on his policy. Great Service. Took in my 2018 Trek Marlin 5 for some long overdue servicing. The quality of the work was apparent as soon as i rode out the shop. Gears switched smoothly, hubs and crank were silent and the bike felt like it's rolling faster and easier. Highly Recommended.
Always friendly, gives great service & advice as well as completing orders in a most timely fashion.
Great LBC Andy and Mally know there stuff. I would recommend this shop to cyclists of all abilities.
Went in with a broken spoke but he also spotted and fixed half a dozen other things that needed doing. Very appreciative.
