Been to big star so many times but finally deciding to write a review. One thing I highly recommend is getting a Paloma pitcher instead of the Margs, you won't be disappointed! Also always get the guac, for tacos their pescado, barbacoa and walking taco also won't disappoint. Excited to come back here in the summer so we can sit out at the patio

Not Big Star but 5 stars. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The tacos are fresh and delicious. The check was reasonable.
Margaritas are still flowing outside even in November. Big Star is as good as it's ever been. Noe there are heat lamps on the patio to keep you warm. Try the veggie potato taco! Yum
Ordered online for pickup, picking up was chaos. There's a window, that was closed, where you wait for someone to pop their head out and ask for a name. Several people were standing around the window wondering what they were supposed to do. When someone finally opened the window they were impolite when people started trying to retrieve their orders. The tacos were good, nothing special, way overpriced. I'll stick to one of the many places on the Southside that serve a wider variety of reasonably priced Mexican dishes where tacos are just as good or better, with far better customer service. I'd rather give my business to places that appreciate it.
This restaurant was very casual and fun place to have a brunch. They have bourbon and whiskey bar in the middle of restaurant. People enjoyed drinks even though it's lunch time. Food was pretty good I really enjoyed deep fried fish taco but steak taco meat was quite a bit chewy. It's was hard to eat. Lovely and clean interior and cozy mood makes me happier than other taco restaurants.
