I had the pulled pork sandwich and cheese curds. The good: sandwich was great and bigger than expected. Solid pulled pork that'd be good even without BBQ sauce. The bad: place is really hard to find in the dark since it's actually the pub on the corner just advertised differently. The ugly: the cheese curds. If you're visiting from Wisconsin, hard pass on these. I know, my fault, I should've known better. If you're just eating the BBQ, it's a fine choice.

I was expecting this place to be pretty good, and when I saw that Chicago's Best was there I thought it was going to be great. Unfortunately there is no seating so everything is take out. The Burnt ends were good but sauced and I prefer no sauce. The sauce was ok. The pulled pork had very little flavor and was dry, but the parts with the bark on it was good. The ribs had very little meat but it wasnt bad. As for the sides the mac and cheese was pretty good, but would have been better without what I think was parsley. The \garlic smashed potatoes\ were not as described. They were mashed potatoes with a bad brown gravy. Unfortunately this is a place I will not go back to, even though there was plenty I'd want to try. I dont think the prices are bad overall, just not the place for me.

I got The Boss Hog : smoked pulled pork, brisket and hot links, jalapeño cilantro coleslaw, 4 cheese mac and cheese, fried onion strips and garlic aioli stuffed into a giant burrito. With a side of the Mac and cheese and street corn it was amazing. I should have got some extra sauce on the side but now I know for next time. It's a little pricey for a burrito but it's big and filling. I would highly recommend trying this place. I wanted burnt ends but they were out. Hopefully next time I will get them can't wait to go back.

After trying a few times I had to comment. Big Joe is doing it right! Excellent smoked meats and homemade sides. I asked for lean flat cut brisket and that is exactly what I got. They said I would have to wait about a half hour for smoked turkey. Well I have to tell you, it was the best half hour investment i could have made. Tender and juicy. My wife is not a big fan of turkey and she loved it. The meats are NOT overly smoked. You taste the meat. So glad to have this quality near home. Give 'em a try, you won't be disappointed.

I saw this place on Chicago's Best my BF & I went in around 3pm place was empty food was dreadful if I lived closer I would have taken it back for a refund.. next day I'm still digging meat out my teeth.. Ordered: Angus Burger it was over cooked & dry Full Slab of Ribs: The little bit of sauce taste good they tried to cover the over burnt dry meat by the 3rd bone I quit ,it was like trying to eat burnt bacon .It was garbage when they took it off the grill Mexican Corn & Mashed Potatoes /gravy Both were extremely hot Kids couldn't eat either The Fries were good .But for 40 with a TV referral I was Extremely Disappointed. This was the worst Barbeque I've ever had .IT made my teeth hurt.Offended
