Got a takeaway for the family from Darren. It was amazing and great value! Loved the buffalo burgers! Thanks so much Darren- such a friendly and nice guy. Would definitely recommend.

Darren and his team catered for our wedding in August. From start to finish Darren was incredibly friendly, professional and accommodating. After numerous emails agreeing and tweaking the menu we wanted we had a tasting with him in Chester. He put in so much effort and everything we tasted was so good we knew the food at our wedding was going to be amazing. He made all the sandwiches and Pimms for our afternoon picnic, the biggest and best South African feast you've ever laid your eyes on for the evening and all the dough, jam and sausages for late night stick bread over the fire! His team were so lovely and attentive and looked after all of our guests so well. Everyone had second and third helpings... and all everyone talked about for weeks after was the food! I literally cannot recommend Big 5 Catering enough!

Darren and his team made our event extra special. On time, totally professional, they did everything they said they would. Having their fabulous food on proper plates, cutlery and all, and have it all cleared away from the tables was a fantastic touch. The hog was beautiful, well presented with fabulous sides and salads. Many of our family remarked how amazing it was that you wouldn't have known they'd been there, so thorough. We will definitely use Big 5 again, highly recommended. Thank you so much.

Wow, these guys never fail to impress, this is the 3rd year I've had the pleasure of experiencing Big 5 BBQ. Authentic South African food cooked to perfection (especially the burgers which tend to be overdone by other caterers). The skewered meat has a marinade which is to die for! Very happy chappie here :)
