As a qualified Personal Trainer I always look for the best when choosing a gym in which to train. Powerhouse is just that; extremely well equipped and run by a first rate group of friendly and experienced staff. Probably the largest and most comprehensive gym facility in the area, it also retains the personal touch. Powerhouse ticks all the boxes; large training areas, free weights, numerous specialist resistance machines and classes too. Enough of everything that there's never a queue. Happy to unreservedly recommend Powerhouse not only as a first rate local resource, but probably the best.

A great gym that provides all the amenities you could possibly need within a gym. It is well looked after by the owners and they work tirelessly to help their members. I fully recommend this to any gym goer. Supplements sold at very good prices. Classes and training programmes for those that require or want them. Fantastic.

Such great equipment. My other half and I have been to many gyms across the country and this is up there with the most well equipped we’ve been to. Great for body builders and those into their fitness. Lovely owner too, good cleaning systems, and a very easy process for booking in for day passes as well as entering the building. Liked it a lot here, would definitely recommend

Excellent gym for all types of training. There's loads of space between equipment and floor space to spread out and do your own hiit type workout, or whatever you like. For me, the gym has all the equipment I need and it's a really nice place to train.

One of the best run and equipped gyms I have found in the area. Very friendly atmosphere too. Communication has been excellent throughout the covid-19 period, gym is always clean, tidy and well equipped. I would reccomend to anyone.
