The food here was quite good but the service was remarkable! The manager deal with a difficult customer extremely well. The staff were attentive and genuinely looked happy to be there and with their job... That really does make all the difference to a dining experience! Well done!

Had an amazing sunday lunch here. The covid precautions they have put into place are thorough and well thought out. The wait staff were all lovely despite being so busy. Would come again
This was our second visit , after the first visit we decided to celebrate a family occasion and had a lovely time thanks to Jess and Leanne. Nothing was too much for them. The food was nice and came out hot. It was nice to feel ‘ normal ‘ but still within covid regulations. Thank you to Jess for your lovely smile and hard work to keep us happy and Leanne for being so understanding. Sackville is a lovely place for a meal .
This restaurant has greatly improved since being taken over under new management since 2018. Very friendly and professional staff. Very nice conservatory to sit in. Good beer garden which is often packed with people in good weather. Has a big TV screen in the lounge and the food is great too. Only downside to it is that it has no disabled toilet facilities and not very much choice for vegetarians and vegans. Otherwise, its definitely worth a visit.
First time visiting The Sackville Bistro for Sunday Carvery with friends (7 of us in total) and none of us was disappointed. Covid safe (sat separately due to 'rule of 6' but close enough to have a conversation, hand sanitiser stations, and even tongs individually packaged for our veggie servings!)... Why I'd never visited before I will never know but 100% will return again, as well as recommend friends to visit. Friendly waitresses/staff, and such a cosy atmosphere. Photo of my Chocolate Fondant pudding which went down a treat!!! Thank you for such a great treat!!
