Beverley Westwood is a Jewel in the crown of East Yorkshire.Its wide open spaces and wooded area .It's high slopes and gradual inclines.Give children a lot to run around.Especially if it snows because it's perfect to climb to the top of the huge slope that everyone knows will afford them a great slide down on their toboggan.Thankful that the cows roaming free are no longer present in the winter. Definitely a must to visit.
An absolutely magical place. Gorgeous views and plenty for the kids to do. We love it here.
Just on the outskirts of Beverley and a short drive from Hull. Beverley Westwood provides an excellent places to get outside and into nature. With some patches of ancient woodland, it provides a perfect opportunity to have a decent walk and get some fresh air. It's also excellent for dog walkers. It's also popular with model plane enthusiasts. Parking is easy with spots just beside the roadside. There's almost always plenty of spaces to use.
It is wonderful to have wide open spaces like the Westwood where you walk,keep social distance and enjoy fresh air and great views of the Wolds, town and Minster. Good takeaway coffee and bacon rolls available near the racecourse. Tier 3 is more bearable if you can still get out and feel free.
