I would highly recommend Sterling Partnership especially Paul Banyard to anybody that asks for a recommendation with regards to finding the right mortgage, I simply couldn't recommend Paul highly enough, I'm a self employed sub-contractor and under the circumstance over the past year (covid) nobody would touch me with regards to getting a mortgage, A friend recommended Paul to me after I was chatting to him as I needed to re-mortgage to buy my ex partner out so I could keep the house, Paul met me for a meeting to discuss and look at my finances etc and from then on he kept me in the loop with everything he had done and he helped me out a lot with forms etc, I had a few mortgage refusals after certain checks were done but Paul kept on looking and he found me a mortgage where I was approved and from then on he helped to make everything run smoothly right to the very end, I can honestly say that if Paul had followed suit like previous company's that I had tried to help me and not put that extra effort in to go that extra mile then I would not be sat here in my house writing this review
Paul was an absolute pleasure to work with he made moving house alot less stressfull as he goes above and beyond to help their isnt enough stars to rate him high enough an absolute diamond of a bloke

I used Sterling Partnership in order to get my first mortgage and was helped by Paul Banyard. At this point I had left a permanent job of 6 years and was in my first 4 months of contracting. I heard a lot of people say they had trouble getting a mortgage whilst contracting and I had been in contact with several larger broker firms to be told on my rate, the hours I work and the amount of time I had been contracting that I catagorically would NOT get a mortgage until I had a minimum of 12 months books. I had started to lose hope when my accountant recommended Sterling Partnership and not long after I was contacted by Paul. At first I was extremely sceptical as having been told already there was no chance I thought I may just be wasting my time. I was wrong, Paul treats every case individually, he does not blanket everyone and although 99% of companies would not offer me a mortgage he found and contacted the one if not only company willing to lend to me! Now I am almost at contract exchange and am just waiting for my house to be completed. I could not be happier and cannot thank Paul enough, he has been thorough and helped me out as much as he possibly could. Would highly recommend!
