This council is a joke, the muppets could run it better. Traffic wardens are a cash cow for the council. They drive about polluting the air on the of chance they can slam a ticket on your car to make a few quid daily yet you never see a road sweep or roads maintained

Useless council .. funny thing is i reckon if anyone of these people working in the council office. got a job in the private sector I dowt they would last any longer than a week in a real job. When you call there very unhelpful keep saying please go to are website or wright us a email ... it shows there not interested in direct feed back or talking to people one on one ...

We too have just experienced the idiocies of the parking fine appeals procedure. A valid ticket was purchased and displayed. A warden who didn't bother to approach the vehicle closely issued a penalty notice, and took a photograph of the displayed ticket from an angle which ensured a small part of the ticket was obscured. We appealed, and the decision was found in favour of the warden and the fine was upheld. My advice: ensure that your tickets are displayed in a manner which even the Council cannot dispute, or stop using their car parks as they can't be trusted to operate them fairly.
