Got got my MOT done here today. Was initially slightly wary when the tester drove my car away from where the rest of the mechanics were working but discovered they had a dedicated area for MOT testing just beside the garage. The vehicle was returned within an hour, with a pass certificate, and I was charged 20. Amazing price. NB - If you're waiting, the reception area is quite cold in Winter. This isn't a criticism, it's just so you know to wrap up warm if you're waiting (there's a coffee shop over the road but it's obviously not accessible during Lockdown)

Top class service, the gentleman advised my car tyre could be fixed i.e. puncture repair and put the spare on for me, free of charge. Brilliant attitude.
Good location south of city on busy road. Relaxed ,busy but no nonsense kind of place. Good experience arranging mot and repairs. Good explanation of work and costs. Timescale explained well. Helpful and polite staff. Will use again.
Took my car in for an MOT and was given a massively inflated quote, and when the car was returned to me it would not start. The staff didn't seem surprised at this and can straight over with a pack to get the battery going. After driving around for around half an hour to make sure the battery was okay, it wouldn't start again. When I contacted the garage to explain what had happened, they took no responsibility for it, and said it must be due to the cold/end of the batteries life, and there was nothing wrong with the battery when they finished their MOT (about 30 minutes before I picked the car up) When I explained it was hard to believe this is all a big coincidence, I was told that I'm not the only person that this has happened to, and that it must have been a problem before it came in. There had been absolutely no issues with the battery before it went into Best fit, so it's hard to believe that something could have went so wrong with it in the half hour sitting in their car park after the mot. After the MOT I was left with a car I couldn't start and a massively overpriced quote for repairs. Needless to say I won't be returning or recommending. Update: the garage that finally did the MOT repairs for 340 less than the quote from best fit. Avoid them.
Wheel alignment (90 ), after the service I did not receive the results because \the printer paper has run out\. I was shown results from the front axle, the rear axle was not set! \positioned well\ I heard when I asked about the rear axle. The worst car repair shop I've ever seen. I do not recommend!
