Bernie Lehmann

A must culinary and social experience when visiting Bern. This iconic restaurant is a jewel amongst all the great eateries in Switzerland's capital. The Aarbergerhof epitomizes all the good vibes the city has to offer and has the flair of bringing people together over a tasty dish or a glass of wine. Apart from the great and consistent food, it's the atmosphere that brings me back time and time again on my visits to Bern.

An eclectic restaurant, both in regards to the menu and the decor. They have a variety of Swiss, Thai, and Turkish dishes, several vegetarian options, daily and seasonal menu. Good place for a business lunches or romantic dinners. Fast and friendly service. A popular spot among local business people. Reservations are recommended!

Nice bar area to sit at, jazz playing in the background. Mixed crowd, mostly older but some youngsters. Restaurant was booked out which is a good sign.

The place is wonderful and the staff team are excellent working as family... the owner is so helpful and knows how to recommends the food to you and your family. The chief do very good food, trying the seafood soup very delicious .... and try the Tuna salad

It was a good surprise. It was hot, and rainy and we choose this restaurant because it looked cozy and fresh. We were received by who I assume was the owner. He was very friendly, spoke English and the service was great. The food was also delicious. Overall I loved it and I will return there for sure.

The menu is a surprisingly varied mix of local seasonal food (venison at this time of year) and Thai food.Had a fabulous meal here last night and would highly recommend this place - an international and varied menu with high quality tasty food in a stylish environment and friendly fast service

This was a great recommendation from a local colleague who has been eating here for years. The menu is a surprisingly varied mix of local seasonal food (venison at this time of year) and Thai food. We ordered a mix including a good Thai pad Thai and a salad with added shrimp. We also enjoyed some local beers and Apple taste dessert. Prices were probably ok for Bern but we were a bit offended that the waiter repeatedly reminded us that the tip wasn't included as we knew that. Service could also have been quicker as the restaurant was not so busy. But overall we agreed we would come back as there are many good options on the menu.
