The only problem I can find with this school, which needs to be addressed is the staffing of the office. It is hard to register for courses, as the secretary is often sick and they don't seem to have a replacement. As for teaching quality, this varies probably from teacher to teacher but I consider myself one of the lucky ones to have a really good and dedicated teacher. I totally recommend this school. I would stay away from private schools. I had an experience with one in Berlin and I found VHS in Pankow hands down the better choice.
I attended a TestDaF preparation course, which was led by Frau Martina Sonntag. In four weeks, we worked intensively on lots of prep skills, practices and mock exams. From reading, listening, writing and speaking. All covered. She even prepared extra materials for a student who’s taking Telc C1 Hochschule exam. How sweet and considerate! I really appreciate Martina’s work and can only recommend it to those who are also considering the same course. Es lohnt sich!
In dieser Schule ist das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wenn man einen Kurs machen möchte, und zwar Integrationskurs, ist das der richtige Platz. Dort sprechen die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter viele Sprachen, was eine große Erleichterung ist für die Menschen, die kein Deutsch verstehen. Man muss aber darauf achten, dass für eine Anmeldung oder Beratung einen Termin erforderlich ist. Die Terminvereinbarung läuft sehr leicht auch per E-Mail, da die Rückmeldung kommt immer schnell.

War hier zu einem Printmedien Kurs der VHS Pankow. Fazit: Leistungsschwache Computer, veraltete Software, sehr guter Dozent. Trotzdem ist die VHS Pankow nicht zu empfehlen
Museum Pankow, die Fotos im Treppenhaus und im Flur sind besser als die recht rudimentäre Ausstellung zu den Gegenentwürfen, von denen es doch sehr viel mehr gab.
