It was alright, service was friendly. We've had better (and cheaper Schnitzel) elsewhere. Kaiserschmarrn were a bit of a let down, though perhaps authentic.

Wiener Schnitzel is one of my favorite foods and the best I have ever eaten is at Nußbaumerin. I have had it here many times and it is consistently perfect: thin well hammered veal, delicious batter perfectly browned and not greasy puffing out from the veal. Superb potato salad on the side. In fact, if there is a better Austrian restaurant in Berlin, I have yet to find it. All the other dishes I or my table companions have eaten here have always been excellent. Try the beef roulade! Deserts here, well you have to try the Kaiserrschmarnn, get one portion for the table, all the other deserts are great too. A well chosen wine list offers excellent value for the money and there is a good selection of by the glass wines if you don’t want an entire bottle. This is a small place and the tables are rather close together, however the service is professional and courteous. Otherwise be sure and reserve a table as they are usually booked out several days in advance. Once you eat here, you’ll know why.

What a nice evening! Perfect service and splendid food. Classics and specials, we loved them all. Me and my wife would love to come back to this genuine restaurant, and so would our teenagers!
