I've been here several times for either a concert or a Handball game. There are a few toilets, however, for women you can expect longer waiting times. On the other hand, there are usually a lot of places you can get good food (there are also vegetarian and a very few vegan options I think) as well as drinks. For concerts I usually had good places no matter where I was, and the same goes for the Handball games. If you are thinking of going to a concert or sports game here, I can definitely recommend it.

Great acoustics, well organised at both entrance and wardrobes, awesome seating with good views to the stage from almost all places. Fully recommended for concerts!
Went to Berlin recycling volleys match. The stadium is very clean and modern. The only downside is that you cannot bring a big backpack inside for security reasons. Instead you have to leave it at a garderobe for 2 euros. Its not a lot, but it's definitely not the most ideal way of spending your 2 euros. You can't avoid the thought of the arena management trying to squeeze few more coins out of the customers. Otherwise its a superb venue all around.
Loved the atmosphere and the game, the food court around the seats is great, however like at most sport events very expensive.
Better come from the north, huge construction works on the south side approach.
