Very nice establishment. I used to be a regular, back when I lived in Berlin. I got into a fight with the owners because the Group I was with was loud obnoxious; so yeah, in this regard the owner's tolerance could be better (or at least used to). So in that regard not the most "berlin"-like establishment. But a wonderful place nonetheless. I miss their Beer selection, whiskies and Burgers with Wedges. I hope they get through this pandemic and successfully manage to keep their business in one piece. All the best with fond memories. LG, Marc.

Very cozy ambience and very friendly and welcoming staff. Amazing beef burger and chips. The wedges were the best I've ever had. Great selection of unique beers. Definitely one of my favourite burger places in Berlin.

A place for people who love all kinds of Scottish drinks & food. Be very attentive and expect fast execution of sanctions when not obeying one of many unwritten and not always obvious rules.

Very rood and unpleasant personal. Update: there was no problem from our side to sit the way its regulated. The problem was an offer to “go to the different place if it’s to complicated”.

In response to the owner: 3 stars is not a negative rating. I had an average experience, and my rating reflects that. To be honest, I don't feel 3 stars needs a justification, and I'm reluctant to do so, as the owner doesn't seem to listen to any criticism, and merely attacks any negative reviewers. I found the staff to be unfriendly, and a bit rude. The overall experience didn't resemble a Scottish pub in anyway, in my personal view. I was disappointed by the gruff service, and a bit miffed that I had to be relegated to the smoking room, as every table was reserved; some were empty, and remained so after I left. Again, only my personal experience. Don't get your knickers in a twist. Perhaps you should spend more time thanking those who give you 5 stars, instead of being sarcastic to those who were less satisfied. Or at least listen to criticism, instead of constantly trying to defend yourselves.

Another hidden gem in Berlin. A Scottish pub with traditional British food and hamburgers tasting delicious and made with love. A broad choice of whiskeys from a spectrum of hundreds of bottles. If you are into authentic and real-life atmosphere, you have to go there and discover and enjoy this place.

As had been said in previous posts, there are a comprehensive number of “rules” at this establishment which will substantially limit the enjoyment of your stay there. My party of eight was just thrown out of this pub for apparently raising our voices inside the building after 10pm. I have never been made more unwelcome at any public bar. Nice to know that the landlords do not need to rely on recurring business. Very happy to never drink there again.
